20 Jun First Argos Platform Flight

During only 6 months, CATUAV has designed and built a new platform propelled by a thermal propulsion for large flight duration and payloads. The first ARGOS propotipe take off the Moia testing runway on June 20th at 8:42 to perform its first evaluation flight. During the 20 minutes flight, the correct operation of the onboard systems and the excellent aerodynamic behavior was assessed. A complete testing flight program will be carried out next days to qualify the performances and operational limits of the ARGOS platform.
