Since its start CATUAV has maintained a constant technological renewal effort that has allowed it to remain at the forefront of mini-UAV systems. To continue to lead this segment, CATUAV is already in advanced stages of developing a new UAV platform that will enter service in April 2011. Among its main features include an extended range of up to 2 hours of flight time, a new structure that will incorporate elements printed in ABS plastic, a 3-axis inertial stabilization system and adaptive autopilot. These important improvements will reduce operating costs and increase productivity significantly.
